Foodie Trailers Refund And Return Policy

At FoodieTrailers, we are committed to delivering high-quality, custom-built trailers. Due to the nature of our products, the following policy applies to all purchases.


1. No Returns on Custom Trailers

All trailers sold by FoodieTrailers are custom-built or made-to-order.

Therefore:

  • All sales are final
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges once production has begun or the trailer has been delivered

2. Deposit Policy (Non-Refundable)

  • A deposit (typically 30–50%) is required to begin production
  • This deposit is strictly non-refundable, as it covers:
    • Design work
    • Materials procurement
    • Production scheduling and labor

3. Order Cancellation

Before Production Starts:

  • Cancellation requests may be accepted
  • A portion of the deposit may be refunded at our discretion, minus administrative and design costs

After Production Begins:

  • No refunds will be issued
  • The customer is responsible for:
    • Materials already purchased
    • Labor completed
    • Any costs incurred up to cancellation

4. Shipping & Delivery (Included in Price)

Shipping and delivery fees are included in the total price of the trailer.

However, this applies under standard conditions:

  • Delivery is included within normal service areas
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Remote or hard-to-access locations
    • Expedited or priority delivery
    • Special transport or permit requirements

FoodieTrailers reserves the right to adjust delivery arrangements if necessary.


5. Delivery & Inspection

  • The customer must inspect the trailer upon delivery or pickup
  • Signing the delivery confirmation constitutes:
    • Full acceptance of the trailer
    • Confirmation that the trailer meets agreed specifications

Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery


6. Defects & Repairs

If a defect is identified:

  • It must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • FoodieTrailers will:
    • Assess the issue
    • Repair or replace defective components where applicable

Defects do not qualify for refunds, only repair or correction


7. No Refunds Will Be Issued For:

  • Change of mind
  • Business performance or profitability
  • Failure to obtain licenses or permits
  • Delays outside our control (weather, suppliers, logistics)
  • Improper use, damage, or modifications by the customer

8. Warranty Disclaimer

  • Any warranty provided will be outlined separately in your purchase agreement
  • FoodieTrailers disclaims all implied warranties, including:
    • Merchantability
    • Fitness for a particular purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FoodieTrailers shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business or profits
  • Operational downtime
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Compliance Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining permits and licenses
  • Meeting local health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring legal operation of the trailer

FoodieTrailers may provide guidance but does not guarantee approval.


11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
  • Governed by the laws of [Your State]
